Orgel Fantasia

I think it's fairly obvious where the inspiration for this photo is from. I really really love the "Orgel Fantasia" Cd. It was my first official SM Cd back when there was no internet and limited sources to get original stuff, so it holds a special place in my heart. <3

I bought this doll about a year ago but I barely got a chance to actually have it in my hands and play with it. I'm not sure who made this dress, but I remember seeing the doll in THIS collection before I bought it on Ebay. Even though the doll is just a regular Irwin doll, I'm still in love with it, she looks so..... so..... what's the word??

Sophisticated.

And yes, the Taj Mahal picture in the BG is just a blatant ripoff by Cycyn. KTHXBYE.

And... we have a new FAVE!!!! Olivia Munn!!

I enjoy watching internet shows, and one of my favorites is Attack of the Show. I'm a fan of the hostess, Olivia Munn, and last year she made me super happy by cosplaying as Sailor Moon. I follow Olivia via Twitter and her blog. She is currently finishing her first book (must-buy) and she asked if any fans were interested in making fan art and of course, Cycyn wanted to participate in her book. I asked her for the deadline for fanart submissions and.... she actually REPLIED! HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHA!!!! LOOSER GETS EXCITED!!! *points to self*

:3

So why is this relevant??? Just had to show that I REALLY AM an Olivia Munn fan, and the point I'm trying to get to is: Today's entry at her blog made me loose my breath for second.

Behind the scenes… Of my photoshoot yesterday for a special spread I did for the inside of my new book I just finished writing. The book comes out next summer! And this spread is “Great Females in History.” And yes, Sailor Moon is my hero.

So, having my fave Olivia being an ACTUAL fan of our beloved Sailor Moon..... I'm Hyperventilating here PEOPLE.... !!!!.... FUuuuuu ....... FFffuuuuuuu..... FFffffuuuuuuuuu...... move back, I need some air.

Sadly, she closed fan art submissions a few weeks early and I didn't get a chance to send mine in. Still love her though. <3

SM vs. Real Life Volume: 5 - Galaxia's Lair vs. The Blue Mosque - again.

I have ashamedly admitted before that I have not yet read the whole SM manga, not for lack of interest but lack of resources. I did however buy the whole collection of reprinted mangas when they came out and I enjoy looking through them every now and then, but rarely look at the advanced part of the series because it's hard to decipher what's going on by just looking at the drawings, specially since the manga is kinda surreal and soooo different from the anime.

The other day I was for once looking at the last volume of the reprint and this jumped out of the page:

This seems to be A PART of Sailor Galaxia's evil lair. It looks huge, labyrinth-like and it's all full of random rooms, in fact this particular room appears just ONCE, but it gave me a strong flashback to that very lucky time when I was at the Blue Mosque (which I have blogged about before).

We know Naoko used references from diverse places to use in her manga, but, it's just so much fun to see them in real life, right? :]

Manga page scanned from volume #12 of the manga.
Pictures of the Blue mosque are from somewhere in Google Images.

CyCyN IS SOOooo IN LOVE <3<3<3<3<3

<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

I'm always on the search for awesome cosplayers with excellent craftsmanship and enormous dedication to the SM series, most are women but I have found two or three guys that have done a good job as well, but the rate is about 5609 women per guy which leaves us with quite a limited number of male cosplayers. If that weren't sad enough, not all are worth representing the super gorgeous hunky Mamoru. He's a difficult character to find in real life.

Several years ago there was a well known cosplayer who called herself Usagi Kou and I know there was a lot of history behind that name (no idea what all the drama was about tho), but my point is: Lori's ex boyfriend is ZOMG HOTTT!!!!! And I seriously mean DROP DEAD GORGEOUS HOT (to me) because he has everything perfect: He's tall, handsome, he has blue eyes, perfect skin, beautiful features, enjoys cosplay and anime and the best part: He seems like the kind of guy who is super committed to his girl!!! TURN ON!!!......I mean, he even likes photography for crying out loud!!!! (a huge EXTRA in MY book) How much more perfecterer can he get?!?!

Information on him is limited as usual because his LJ is not public, but I managed to find some information and his cosplay.com page. As far as I know, he has given up the Moonie costumes and is into games and Jedi costumes now... But hey, he can let me play with his lightsaber. OMG I DID NOT JUST SAY THAT! O.O!!!!

Have you guys seen any other hot Mamoru cosplay or Mamoru look alike??

And if you read this, Scott, Call me... *wink wink* we could violate the Jedi Code and create a disturbance in the Force. Join me and we’ll rule the galaxy together, I can totally wear the golden bikini!!

I went too far again didn't I?? u.u

Once Upon a WIN!!!

I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER is one hell of an addictive group of blogs that range from CUTE KITTEHS to FUN CHARTS and even a bit of ENGRISH; they are the geniuses behind the "FAIL" thingie, and "teh lolzpeak dat iz populr". Hours of fun are guaranteed at any of these blogs. But OF COURSE, there is one that caught my eye today:

Once Upon a Win: Epic Wins from when we were kids.

Need I say more?? This page is SO FULL OF WIN!!! I am totally an 80's kid so I usually love to come by this page just for the nostalgia, and I'm always surprised to see how many things that were "cool" back then are so forgotten now. Whenever I find something that REALLY gives me a blast from the past, I'm like: "OOOHHHHH YYYYEEEAAAHHHH!!!!!! I LOOOOOOVED THATTT!!!! I REMEMBER IT NOW!!"

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT. I freaked out when....

Is it that old to cause blasts from the past??? Bleh who cares, IT'S STILL FULL OF WIN!!! Visiting this site and giving SM thumbs up won't make much of a difference, in fact, nothing at all will happen, but still, I just had to vote!!! XD!

There is no specific page to where this is as new things get added constantly and past entries get pushed back, but I found it around page 42.

Visit Nostalgic Win! for more awesome blasts from the past.

I saw and didn't buy it on Ebay. Volume 11

Hmmm.... I haven't done one of these in a while, but normally the "I saw and didn't buy it on Ebay" section is reserved for cool or hard to find Sailor Moon items up for sale on different auction sites that for one reason or another never got to buy. The problem is that now all the good stuff is being tweeted and now I DO get my hands on some stuff (*broke all the time--shakefist to Dees*)

But anyway, here is something that I DIDN'T buy 'cause.... you know... SIZE. XD

OMG WAIT. It could have been for my niece!!!!... wait no. My nice is already 12. My OTHER niece!!... wait...no, about 5 or 6 now. DAMN!! HHAHAHA!

Anyway, just a cute little thing. :3
