New k-BOSE art requires a new k-BOSE Post

Hmmm... almost a year since we last saw a cool piece of imagery provided by the INCREDIBLE K-Bose. I post his SM fan work EVERY TIME he uploads something, and today, well, he uploaded something!!

Cute Sailor Moon Corset

It's been about two years since I last saw THIS corset with I totally LOVED. The print on that fabric was based off the new book covers Naoko Takeuchi drew for her 2003-2004 manga reprints.

But now, I found this other corset which is not as cute as the first one but pretty nonetheless ...




The weird part is that this piece was produced in 2008 with a fabric that has the SuperS anime pattern. Where did she buy this fabric?? Or has she kept it since back then??

Conexión Manga Ed. 200

A while ago I tweeted that I had found an anime magazine with an article about SM, however it contained nothing that made me want to me run home, hurry up and post it, so I took my sweet, sweet time on this. xD!! Conexión Manga is one of Mexico's most famous and longest running anime and manga magazine, and they recently published it's 200th issue, good for them!! :) Congrats!



For their special Issue, they talked about the most influential anime of the last years, manka-kas and videogames, and though there is no new Moonie info, I kinda liked the graphics they made for the SM spread, very floral and girly...




And when they got to the manga-kas part, of course they were going to talk about Mrs. Takeuchi. The author of this column refers to Naoko as the "Moon princess" and though we know she calls herslf the "Princess", I'm not quite sure if she ever specified she was the MOON princess. Did she ever?? I dunno,also the writer made a mistake, she said Naoko has a boy, when of course we know IT'S A GIRL!! I stand corrected, she has A BOY and we just learned she has a second Little Princess too! :3



But AAAANyway, fun too see Sailor Moon still getting attention.

I normally bang my head on the wall every new "I saw and didn't buy it on Ebay" entry because I always manage to let the awesome stuff slip from my hands because of stupid little reasons like I forgot, I was outbid, time finished, etc.

Ohh my dearestest ones, this time the head bangin' will be for a whole new reason: I foolishly let someone talk me out of it... "Oh c'mon, it's not an original, you can buy something else for that price, it's not even an original box, it's a Barbie box, and you have too much stuff already......"

I should've answered "WHO CAREEES!?!?!?!!!" and bought it.

A custom made Eternal Sailor Moon. I dunno who made it. About 80 dlls if I recall correctly...ADORING IT!!!!! and yes, OMGWANT.

You gorgeous hoodie, you!

So I've been looking for a perfect shirt/hoodie that is really really Moonie but not as complicated as a cosplay, something I can just pull or zip on, make two braids and run out the door. At first I thought finding something in stores was going to be hard, and so found a shirt very much like this one:



"A Sailor has my Heart", as in SAILOR MOON!!!! HAhahaha... but then those army tags just ruined the whole thing, it was funny but not exactly the message I wanted to send out. Then, I saw this shirt a few months ago at a local mall and posted it on Twitter. The reason why I didn't buy it was because it was ridiculously expensive and it has a faded blue/green tone to it, so, that one was OUT.



Next I thought designing my own shirt would be fun..... surprise surprise, IT WAS NOT FUN AT ALL. I had a hard time making the side flaps in the exact position and I wasted a couple of shirts, so I quit. QUITTER!!! *points to self*...



Fine, so maybe someone had already thought the same and I might find it online. Eh, yeah, but not really. I feel like it's missing the sailor neck.... I mean, I get it, of course the bow by itself is just trying to give a hint but HELLOOOOOOOO!!!! SSSAAAAAIIIIIILLLLOOOOORRRRRR Moon. Yup, NEEDS the neck..!!!

A SINGLE PIECE SAILOR MOON ZIP UP HOODIE!!! (WITH SAILOR NECK!!!!!!!!!xD!) Now before you ready your checkbooks, I must warn you that the awesomely awesome hoodie comes with a hefty pricetag: $129.99 USD to be exact....

OMG! I mean, this is the price for a whole high quality cosplay set on Ebay!! Sometimes they even include the boots!! So... to pay the price or not to pay... if it were an original piece or something licensed like Mark Ecko's Star Wars Hoodies (which are cheaper BTW) I might be willing to pay that much, but... errr.. for fan art??... maybe not this time. STILL AWESOME THOUGH!!!!!!! LOVESSS!

The creator of this lovely piece is an seamstress that goes by the name "Morosemelonhead" has an ETSY STORE for all her other hooded creations, where you can find other cute hoodies, like the Panda Hoodie, the Roger Rabbit Hoodie and more!

OMG you guys! XD!!! This is all kinds of weird, but the GOOD kind of weird-- wait, is there such thing as a "good kind of weird"?? Who cares!?!? IT'S WEIRD! I kind of get the bow tie being the chest bow though, Hahaha!

End of Month Summary

So! The Cosplay Month is over and the numbers are in!! This month was the least commented month since the first year of existance of the SMObss!! YAY!!! Epic fail!!!! HAahhaaha!!

Nah, I really enjoyed all these posts and felt like I really accomplished a long time plan so YAY for Cycyn!!

Anyway, things are back to the usual, normal nonsense. I uploaded a new video and a poll related to it, so check that out and I hope you enjoy it.
