Live Chat - Session 2.

In the poll I made a over year ago, we had a TIE between producing a Vlog/Podcast AND having a Live chat. I hate it that I keep letting you guys down with the podcast and such, but may I interest you in a second live chat??





Now, remember this is a Moonie chat, NOT a chat with "THE SUPERAWESOME ONE AND ONLY CYCYNNN!!" NO. It's no like that at all. I have encountered many people that think THEY are the stars and completely fail to talk about the subject. No, I want to talk about your experiences and fun memories or wtvr comes to mind SM related. Also I may make some games to make it fun AND to get the scoreboard numbers rolling!!

Schedule and hour was kind of conflicting last time, so I'll turn things around: Friday Night for the west, Saturday morning for the East.
Tentative date: Friday, May 21th, 2010 at night for Westerners and Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 in the morning for Easterners (that's a weird word). Exact times are TBA. It's still a couple weeks away so you can write down anything you'd like to talk about or clear out your evening so you can be there! XD!

Hi Moonies!!! I just came by really quick to share with you a cute find I had the other day.

I was participating at SCAD's "Sidewalk Arts Festival" a few days ago, an annual event where artists are invited to draw something on the sidewalk using chalk and imagination. After I finished my project I went around to see what other artists were producing but I had had only 4 hours of sleep, no food and three hours on my knees under the rain and cold, so I wasn't feeling so good but just before I left, I caught a glimpse of this super cute Sailor Moon chalk FanArt!! I wanted to hug this girl, and jump with her and talk about Moonie stuff or sing La Soldier...sadly I really really felt weird and just managed to ask her name.

Awww... I'm sorry I can't give you guys more info on Kate, I'm guessing she was either an Illustration or Animation Major... SORRY KATE!! But look at that LUNA and ARTEMIS!!! Aren't they fantastic!?!? And the style of the senshis is sooo cooooll!!!! Usagi looks really sweet too. Awwww...

Yay!!! A really fun Moonie moment. Anyway, That's it. If you're curious, THIS is my sidewalk art thingie. Sadly it's not Moonie, but it has butterflies. x3

Contrary to most games on the SMObss which are based on "facts", this game will be very arbitrary. I alone will decide who the winner is. To read more about how I will choose a winner, you can read THIS post.

Your phrase doesn't necessarily have to reflect what is actually going on in the scene, you can even insert characters or situations that aren't related to the image at all. Jorge's custom dolls!

OOOhhh!!! More custom dolls!! I'm not sure what kind of dolls these are, they kind of look like Irwin size dolls, but they have joints like dollfies. The hair has been re-rooted and the uniforms re-created, I LOVE that the skirts are so short, look at how long those legs look!!! Amazing! I like seeing how artists come up with create ways of turning their vision of SM into reality, and here Jorge Gutierrez did something unique Usagi's odangos, he tried to replicate the way they look in the anime, long ponytails without a single strand of hair out of place. His solution: Hair stokings!!! HAhhahaha!! Inventive. XDDDDDDDDDDD!!!

He has also many other SM dolls of almost all senshi, you can take a look at his gallery HERE to see al the goodies!! The only downside?? They are not for sale. OHhh well, we can still enjoy looking at them, right?

I have NO IDEA of what's going on here but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one out there getting resonating Moonie vibes here... D:

Is that good?? Is it bad??? Is it just kind of influenced by SM?? It's totally a topic for "Sailor Moon Biggest Rip-offs" discussion going on at Moonkitteh, that's for sure.

So, apparently these girls are some kind of Korean Morning Musume type thingie, except they are promoting video games... I really really am NOT going to Wiki them, it doesn't matter ... I guess the "uniformed girls" formula Mrs. Naoko invented, totally WORKED tho.

Shibuya Soldiers leading to a blog --huh?!?

Well today's blog entry is a bit weird. You see, I was looking at some ganguro videos on YT and thought to myself: "I wonder why all these girl are making SM positions?" So I started looking for Moonie-Ganguro stuff. If you aren't familiar with the ganguro style, you can see fotos HERE. Anyway I found this drawing on Deviantart:

 
I even found a Moonie-Ganguro vid by Lori aka Usagi Kou

And in my searchings I came across this image in a blog: 
A ganguro SM. But that's beside the point. I found a blog which is absolutely exciting!! I found SAILORMMM!!! And let me tell you Moonies, it is an AWESOME Blog!!

It's managed by a group of very talented Moonie fan artists all united in one single blog where they post their incredible works!!! I was going to keep looking for ganguro stuff just to make a post, but I think this entry has served a greater purpose: That the SMObss readers visit SAILORMMM!!!!I'm A FAAAAAN!!!! :D!!!!!


Maybe I should leave the SMObss and join them?!!

Ohhhh!! Haven't done any games lately and we need to get that scoreboard rolling again, right?... here's a new Guess that Episode Game.

The game goes like this:

I will look up a random image from a random episode. ANY episode ANY season (it'll be from The Oracle's image base, just 'cause it so awesome). What you have to do is easy: GUESS THE EPISODE.

You must provide as much info as possible:

EXAMPLE: Sailor Moon SS; Episode 130 - Protect Mom's Dream! Use the New Deadly Weapons of Double Moon; Characters: Ikuko, Hawk's Eye; Scene - Hawk's Eye is trying to make Ikuko think she is his long lost mother. Monster names MUST be included (if specified).
