M°OnieTunes - Episode 3!

Wow! Doesn't time fly?  Once a month we come together and talk about Moonie stuff!!  You'd think that because it's not airing, no news would come out, yet we find ourselves talking and talking every month for almost an hour! YAY!

This month, we talk of the biggest news yet: The English version of the "Sailor Moon" and "Sailor V" manga! OMG!! We can't tell you how excited we are about this, I'm sure YOU are extremely happy as well. It's like..... like.... our dreams are starting to become true!! Also we get off track and talk about Justin Beiber, religion and male models... WTF!!?!?!!?!!!!

Remember Moonies, this is not a news report or anything, it's just me, Eku and guest coming together and talking about Sailor Moon stuff, just as we would if we were hanging out at a house, lounging on the sofa. Just roll with it, grab a cup o' tea and enjoy! Don't forget to mark your reaction (cool, cute, OMGWTF, etc) so we can know how we're doing. ;)

SM Room of Doom. Volume 9

Yes, Yes and more yes!! I LOVE Sailor Moon Room of Doom!!!

I normally hear other Moonies mention the word "jealous" when I make these Room of Doom posts, and while jealousy is both a normal and reasonable reaction, I myself can't help but feeling HAPPY! Just plain happy! I might not have all the wonderful items others do, I might find it desirable to break into this room and just GRAB everything. But no, my most prominent thought is: "Wow. This is one seriously happy human being and I love him/her for loving what I also love so much."

See? Like, I wouldn't mind if the boy of my dreams loves another girl, you know, she'd have what I love so much so bitch better watch her freakin' back because I'm one crazeh MoonehLovah on the loose and if I catch her, there will be scalping and--- WHOA!! I got sidetracked there for a moment. xD

Anyway, Usada's room is full of awesome.

Oh hai Moonsters!

It's been a rough and sad week, but things are starting lighten up. WE see glimmers of hope and progress amongst the tragedy. So today I'm going to make a lighter entry. A "Fill in teh Blank" contest! :D!

You guys already know how this works: It's kind of a "Caption This" contest, only that I will give you a small introduction/guide to start your caption with. As the SMFFG gallery has closed, our source will be once again The Oracle.

Contrary to most games on the SMObss which are based on "facts", this game will be very arbitrary. I alone will decide who the winner is. To read more about how I will choose a winner, you can read THIS post.

Fill in the blank according to the image I posted. Your phrase doesn't necessarily have to reflect what is actually going on in the scene, you can even insert characters or situations that aren't related to the image at all. You have up to three or four days to think about it and write it down. If I see that visitors are STILL posting answers, I'll extend the deadline. ANYBODY can win this one!!! Of course, the funniest wins ONE point.

 I found this wonderful video of an aweome Moonie, I already posted this to the SMObss Tumblr and also shared the link on Twitter, but it's just too full of awesome. I'm reposting it here because it needs more spreading :D!!

Car stuff!

Driving to school in a small city never brings many surprises, it's the boringestestest drive ever, I think you even see the same people over and over on the road! The other day though, this car changed lanes and moved in front of me and I saw a massive collage of bumper stickers and decals on its back window and fender. I know there are tons of people who do this, but this one was full of Care-Bears, My Little Pony, Hello Kitty and Pucca images. Hearts, rainbows and stars were also prominent in this sticker madness. While I do have a huge fascination with all things girlie and cute, I think that was way too much, I mean, could she even see through her rear window? XD

Anyway, I started thinking it was cool she loved these cute icons but I've never actually seen a Moonie express their love this way, so off I went to the hunt into teh Google wilderness. These are my findings:

First thing I found was a some blog called "The SailorMoon Obsession Blog" (anyone heard of it?) and it linked back to an old post I made years ago that I had completely forgotten. This is the largest vehicle SailorMoon tribute I've ever seen!! Beats out the "cute sticker girl" easily, so yeah, if you're a trailer driver/owner, you have some serious pimpin' competition right here! Kick a$$ Sailor Moon trailer!

Alright but most of us don't own a trailer, so I focused on more small stickers and car elements. For example, this incredible license plate!!! It's so sparkly and puuuurty! I can't even remember when I found this, it was years and years ago on Ebay. A serious LUNAtic here. LURVE!

And our friends over at Family of Moonlight (particularly Sakky) who also have a very
cool "Found it on Ebay" section, found this super awesome "NO parking" sign. Not something for the car per se, but...you know....

Okay, so how about *actual car decals*?? There aren't as many as you'd think, most are made as white or black blobs instead of traditional looking bumper stickers with a bunch of colors. I found the Artemis/Luna decal  by accident, but it let do a bunch of others that can be found HERE.

  

And of course, this other decal, which I have seen a few times, it's the most popular one I guess.

Now here's a bigger compromise. This one is pretty cool.

You see, we actually need a Sailor Moon car along these lines:

Okay so how does Cycyn express her lurve in her car?? Well, I USED to have this on my rear-view mirror, and yes, I was totally driving when I took this pic. HAHaha!

 I liked it, however all the swinging and bouncing around eventually made me angry, so that's why I'm looking for some other cute accessory.  You know what would be awesome? A SM antenna ball, you know, like the ones we can find at the Disney Store or at a Disney Park?

That Bunny one is adorbs! But I was thinking more something like this:

How about you Moonies? Do you have any kind of Sailor Moon tribute in your car or, if you don't have a car, do you have something on your purse, messenger bag or tote? If not, Would you actually stick a huge decal like the ones above? Would you be ashamed?

It's totally cool if you want to express you Moonie love, but please, for the love of rabbits, do NOT adorn your car with accesories like these:
